AFF Project Outreach

AFF (American Family Foundation) has begun to implement Project Outreach, which is an ambitious project that seeks to identify ex-cult members (especially those individuals who have walked away from a cultic group and have received no help during their recovery) and are perhaps unaware of the potential resources available to them.

The project aims to publicize available resources by giving former members a one-year free subscription to our new bimonthly publication, AFF News (publication target date: July 1995). This publication will include items about books and publications, articles about recovery, news about AFF, and information on recovery workshops.

The ability to identify ex-members will also assist us in including a wider range of individuals in relevant research studies. We also hope to identify ex-members who are able and willing to serve as information and support resources for others.

It is our hope that we can identify individuals in areas where there are no existing support groups and, in cooperation with reFOCUS, develop support groups in many areas of the country.

If you wish to receive the AFF News free for one year, please email your mailing address to carol2180@aol.com.
