We have been doing lots of research on Lake City and presented our results to the community on Wednesday, April 10th in the school gym. Our committees shared our research. From that, parents and community members write what they saw as being very significant on Post-Its. These were put on a chart and used to creat an affinity diagram. These were grouped together and used to determine Lake City's greatest needs. See the draft below.

1. We need to find ways to value and reward principal and staff leadership.

4. We need to offer events for parents that occur on evenings and weekends and offer child care.
5. We need to find ways to help parents support students and their homework

4. We need to offer a more challenging curriculum to all students.
5. Teachers need instruction in computers.
6. Teachers need training programs for various teaching strategies and methods.
