The Clover Park School District will be holding a special levy election on tomorrow, Tuesday, February 6. Parents and community members who are registered voters are reminded to vote. Your support for our children is needed.
All students will be receiving a report card on Friday, February 9th. Please take time to review the report card with your child, and praise success and encourage in areas that need improvement.
Lake City is part of the U.S. Bank School Line Message Service. Information about your child's classroom, lunch menus, closures, special announcements, is available by calling 383-5327. Lake City's school ID is "1009". It is updated on a regular basis.
The Lake City tardy policy has begun anew this semester. Our goal is to reduce incidents of tardiness by students. Families are reminded that every child needs to be at school on time each day. If your child has a legitimate reason for being tardy, please be sure to call the school office and send a note with your child. If you have concerns or questions regarding this policy, please call the school principal, Mary Green.
Friday, February 16 and Friday, May 24 there will be school. Because we had no school January 29 and 30 because of snow, these days are the make-up days.
There was confusion on the days we were off of school due to the name of our district. We are the Clover Park School District. Only the information for Clover Park schools applies to your children.
Thursday, February 8th at 6:30 p.m., Lake City will have STAR Night in the gym. Special guest readers will be our Superintendent, Dr. Hugh Burkett and John Feutz, School Board member. Please come out and share this special occasion with us.
Friday, March 8, 1996, Clover Park schools will be on display at the Lakewood Mall. All district schools and programs will be represented at the mall with displays in addition to performances by school choirs and bands. A great deal of planning and coordination has gone into this effort to show off our schools to parents and the Lakewood community. Please stop by and see the wonderful things that are happening in our schools and at Lake City. Thank you in advance for your support.
